Pot odds are the basis for almost every decision you make at the poker table. To help you become more acquainted with them we prepared this chart that features some of the most common bet sizes.

If you want to be a successful poker player, you need to have a solid understanding of outs.

Outs refer to the amount of cards in the deck that will give you the winning hand. For example, if you hold A♣ 5♣ and the board is K♣ 8♣ 2♠, you have nine outs to make a flush (Q♣, J♣, T♣, 9♣, 7♣, 6♣, 4♣, 3♣, 2♣).

This table shows you the chances of making your hand depending on the number of outs you have.
