If you want to be a successful poker player, you need to have a solid understanding of outs.
Outs refer to the amount of cards in the deck that will give you the winning hand. For example, if you hold A♣ 5♣ and the board is K♣ 8♣ 2♠, you have nine outs to make a flush (Q♣, J♣, T♣, 9♣, 7♣, 6♣, 4♣, 3♣, 2♣).
This table shows you the chances of making your hand depending on the number of outs you have.
