What is Open Shove in Poker?

Open shoving means moving all-in preflop as the initial preflop raiser. For example, if you’re sitting on a 20 big blind stack in the Hijack position and all players acting before you fold, you have the opportunity to open shove with your stack. This move is most often seen in tournaments.
