What Does It Mean in Poker?

OOP stands for Out of Position. When a player is Out of Position, it means they must act first, before the other players in each betting round. You’re out of position on any player that gets to act after you in a particular betting round.

“I was out of position on the small blind against two other players, so I checked.”
