What is Offsuit in Poker?

“Offsuit” refers to a starting hand in Hold’em or Omaha where the cards are of different suits. These are weaker than similarly valued cards of the same suit. Hands like A♠ K♥, T♦ 9♣ and 7♦ 2♠ are offsuit hands, while A♠ K♠, T♦ 9♦ and 7♦ 2♦ are suited hands.
