Upswing Poker featured pro Doug Polk has announced via YouTube that he will begin live streaming the 2016 PokerStars WCOOP this Sunday, September 4th.

 

With the $100 to $10,000 Bankroll Challenge on pause (current roll $137), the action moves north to Vancouver, Canada as thePolkernews host looks to make his mark on the marquee online tournament series.

 

Doug’s live stream will be headlined by the $102,000 buy-in WCOOP Event #28 (begins Sunday, September 11th), which has a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million.

 

  

 

The two-time WSOP bracelet winner answered a multitude of fan questions in his official WCOOP announcement video over the weekend., including letting loyal Subscribers and Lab members know that there will be four days of streaming coming up this week.

 

Although Doug’s hole cards may be displayed at various times throughout the program, the world’s premier heads-up NLHE player has made it clear to fans that they will not be shown in the higher buy-in tournaments.– including the $102,000 WCOOP-28.

 

Doug acknowledged that some fans will be disappointed by this fact — countering that he wishes to maximize expectation during this year’s World Championship of Online Poker series — something that cannot be reasonably achieved by giving away hole card information on-stream.
