High Stakes Poker Advice & More with Doug Polk and Ryan Fee
Upswing Poker featured pros Doug Polk and Ryan Fee both enjoyed their share of success at the tables in September.
More than 20,000 live viewers watched poker’s top-trending superstar negotiate his way to a Twitch Poker record $455,000 USD score in last month’s PokerStars $10,300 buy-in High Roller WCOOP event.
As if that didn’t have roughly 1337 Twitch premium subscribers singing Doug’s praises, the Claudico bot-killer announced he will be resuming the 2016 Online Poker Bankroll Challenge in November. Meanwhile, the 28-year old also pulled off a much-heralded return as anchor of his hit show Polkernews (aka This Week on 2+2) as he shifts his efforts in October to YouTube content.
With the poker world’s live viewing audience focused on Twitch, Fellow Upswing Poker featured pro Ryan Fee quietly managed a five-figure stretch at the Pot Limit Omaha tables on America’s Cardroom — which included an epic 594 Big Blind pot that nearly reached $12,000.
The $40,000 Day One PLO run is documented on our Upswing Poker YouTube Channel, where you can check out Team Upswing’s 3 Tips to Improve Your Poker Mindset video.
Doug and Ryan Share High Stakes Poker Insight
This month, our headliners will concentrate their efforts on providing their unique, top-quality brand of high stakes poker insights and other advice via YouTube.
Ryan — a former LAPT San Jose Main Event winner — has begun a weekly segment which takes hand histories directly from the TwoPlusTwo High Stakes subforum and analyzes them openly for the community.
Ryan’s videos can be a great learning resource for aspiring poker pros who are looking to work their way up in stakes and wish to collaborate on the TwoPlusTwo boards.
Doug will spend most of his time in Nevada these next couple of months as he looks to resume the Bankroll Challenge on WSOP.com NV.
However, he will be continuing his Poker Hands series throughout October, where he discusses numerous high profile poker hands that have garnered mainstream attention both recently and throughout the game’s history.
