ClubWPT Gold Acquires Upswing Poker
Redwood City, CA, August 1, 2025 – ClubWPT Gold today announced a definitive agreement to acquire Upswing Poker, a leading brand in the poker education space known for launching game-changing training products, including the Upswing Lab.
The acquisition will integrate Upswing Poker’s suite of poker training resources with ClubWPT Gold, a top online poker site which operates under a sweepstakes gaming model and is available in more than 40 U.S. states.
This marks the beginning of ClubWPT Gold’s evolution into a poker training platform. One that empowers players not just to play, but to improve and grow their game.

ClubWPT Gold offers two kinds of games – Gold Coins (GC) games and Sweeps Coins (SC) games. Sweeps Coins function as sweepstakes credits that players can redeem for real cash prizes.

Upswing Poker will now offer the following Sweeps Coins incentives for ClubWPT Gold members who purchase signature standalone courses:

The Upswing Lab, a monthly subscription-based training program featuring a comprehensive library of poker training resources, will offer the following SC bonuses for subscribers:
