2018 WSPS Battle of the Ages Tournament: Old Timers vs Young Guns
The Western Senior Poker Series (WSPS) is pitting old timers versus young guns at the $50,000 guaranteed Battle of the Ages tournament!
Upswing is sponsoring this event taking place in early-mid February at Stones Gambling Hall in Citrus Heights, CA. Players will be divided into two age groups for the Day 1 sessions:

Players over age 50 will play on February 7th (Day 1A) and February 8th (Day 1B) at 10:00 a.m.

Players under age 50 will play on February 9th (Day 1C) at 10:00 am.

Players of all ages may play on February 10th (Day 1D) at 10:00 am.
- All remaining players of all ages return for Day 2 on February 11th at 11:00 am.

The tournament buy-in is $250 ($212 + $23 entry fee + $15 staffing fee) with unlimited re-entries for the first six levels.
Players will begin with 15,000 chips and 30-minute levels on Day 1. The top 15% of the field from each Day 1 session will qualify for Day 2. Day 2 players will enjoy 40-minute levels and all are in the money!
The 9-handed final table will consist of at least 3 players representing both age divisions. When one of the divisions drops to only 3 players, all play will be paused while those 3 players have their chips “bagged.” The remaining division will then play down to 6 players, and the final table will resume at the level where play was paused.
The final table will be live streamed on Stones Live.
The last remaining player from each division will win a package for two to the 2018 Card Player Cruises.
Upswing Poker merchandise and subscriptions to the Upswing Lab will be raffled off to tournament players.
