Orange City Poker Room, located about 30 miles from Orlando, is one of the newest poker rooms in central Florida.

The card room features 33 tables and is open to players aged 18 and up. Orange City Poker Room open from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. from Monday through Thursday and is open 24/7 from Friday through Sunday.

The room is usually occupied by locals that don’t want to make the trip to larger casinos in the area. Tourists are generally more attracted to the larger Seminole Hard Rock Tampa due to its size and full casino.

Notable Reviews from Orange City Poker Room Players

“I read the other reviews and had to throw in my opinion. My first time there, I had to wait about 5 minutes for them to open a new table. The dealers were friendly and the competition was good. Bring a jacket if you don’t like air conditioning set on cold. The food wasn’t bad, you can bet the horses and dogs in the racing area. The waitress came around, but not very often. It didn’t bother me but if you need service at the table you may consider it a negative. I enjoyed my time there and it was easy access from the interstate.” –Anonymous

“Most of the negative reviews were given when the room opened and they were working or the kinks. They have great tourneys on Monday and Tuesday with good turnouts. Cash games are competitive. Supervisors and dealers are experienced. There is an attached restaurant with decent food. Since the room is new, everything is clean. Give it a try.” –Kimmi

The Bottom Line

Overall, Orange City Poker Room is a decent option for poker players in the Orlando area and it worthy of a four star. For those that don’t want to make the long drive to the big casinos in Tampa Bay, this is a great option. The room has action around the clock and is a great place to mix it up with the local regs.
