There are lots of spots where we have a big equity disadvantage, but still size geometric anyway - for example IP vs BB on low boards, when flop goes x x and turn is an A. Here we typically go close to geometric with 2 pair plus, since these hands just want to get as much value as possible. In most other situations though, we have some other region of marginal hands that also want to bet, but cannot bet as large. Here our nut hands usually end up sizing down along with these marginal hands...
