Doug Polk “makes it rain” with WSOP 2% Net Profit Giveaway.
Australian Eddie Zeng takes home $25,000 USD Grand Prize.
WSOP 2017 High Roller for One Drop winner Doug Polk took to Facebook Live this week to give away $30,000 cash, spread out among 11 randomly selected winners. The poker millionaire community handout became reality thanks to the 28-year old former competitive Warcraft III player’s WSOP 2% Net Profit Giveaway. Doug, a three-time WSOP bracelet winner, had roughly 43% of himself in the $111,111 buy-in charity tournament, which resulted in a profit of just over $1.5 million.
The 15-minute Cashback Rewards Cast opened with the native Californian reminiscing over a summer that has been filled with poker-related activities ranging from a photo shoot for upcoming Poker Night in America cash games to ESPN & PokerGO commentary duties alongside fellow Team GrindNation members Joey Ingram and Fernando Habegger.
Ten minutes into the show, Doug entered into his GLEAM account and chose the first ten winners — each of whom received $500 to take a shot at their poker dream, further improve their poker education, or let it ride on their favorite Martingale fantasy.

Australian Eddie Zeng was awarded the $25,000 Grand Prize. Ironically, with just over 200,000 total entries and eight possible ways to participate, the Giveaway’s main winner had approximately a 1-in-25,000 chance of being chosen.
Before signing-off, Doug mentioned that he would like to make arrangements to talk to Zeng on the DougPolkPoker YouTube Channel, which has attracted over 130,000 subscribers since launching in June 2016.
