What is Side Pot in Poker?
« View All Poker Terms
A side pot is a separate pot created when the action continues after a player has gone all-in earlier in the hand.
For example, if three players go to the flop and one of them is already all in, all of the remaining bets between the two remaining players go into a side pot. The all-in player is only eligible to win the main pot.
