What is PKO in Poker?

In poker, PKO stands for progressive knockout, a poker tournament format where each player carries a bounty on their head that grows over time. When you eliminate a player, you receive a portion of their bounty as an instant cash reward, while the remainder is added to your own bounty,  making you a more valuable target. If you win the tournament, you also collect your own accumulated bounty.

PKO tournaments are a variant of standard Knockout (bounty) tournaments, where eliminating players pays out a fixed cash prize on top of the normal payout structure.
