What is Mid-Stakes in Poker?

Mid-Stakes are poker games played at a level of stakes that is above low-stakes poker, but below the high-stakes. Online cash games from $1/$2 up to $3/$6 (aka 200NL up to 600NL for No Limit Hold’em games) are considered mid stakes. Live cash games from $5/$10 up to $10/$25 are mid-stakes games (aka medium stakes).
