What is Bet Volume in Poker?
Bet volume is the total amount of money a player puts in, weighted across all available bet sizes. It represents the single bet size that, if used to bet your entire range, would result in the same total amount of money going into the pot.
Bet Volume Example
Flop 7♠ 5♣ 2♦
Pot = 6bb
Check: 25%
B20: 25%
B100: 50%
—
Bet Volume = 25% × 1.2bb + 50% × 6bb
= 3.3bb
