“Great dealers, especially the mixed games. Both cash and tournaments are ran well. My go to spot to play. I love their summer tournament series. They deal the mixed better than any other place in town.” –Anonymous
“The Orleans is probably the best poker room in town. I give it the nod over The Venetian just because its off strip. Great tournament structures, multiple cash game tables, Hold Em, PLO, PLO 8’s or better, Mixed game tournaments, you name it – they’ll deal it. Plenty of servers, quick food restaurants adjacent to the poker room, good chairs, always great turnouts for their MTT’s.” –Anonymous
“Recently played poker at The Orleans after several years. I have to say, what a change since the last time I was there! First, the overall atmosphere has changed completely. The room was calm and sedate, players were enjoying themselves and getting along (which wasn’t always the case), and the issues with smoke are a thing of the past. Now, the important stuff to me… I could not believe the amount of promotions they offer. No room in town can compete with them. As a whole, dealers are probably the best in town. The room was run professionally and efficiently by the floor staff, and everyone was friendly. If you haven’t been there for a while, I strongly suggest you pay a visit. You will be more than pleasantly surprised.” –Anonymous
Orleans Poker Room is a solid poker room and is worthy of a four-star rating. It is great for low-stakes poker players, especially those that prefer omaha games. The Sunday night HORSE tournament is one of the best for mixed game players. The only negative for the room is the lack of higher stakes action.
